  LMC Announces New Date For NPFL Second Round Resumption By Sampson Adedeji The League Management Company (LMC ) has announced a new date for the resumption of the 2020/21 NPFL second round matches, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The first round of the 2020/2021 season of the league was concluded on April 5 with the organiser announcing that the second round resumes on 21st of April. The date was later moved to 28th of April before this latest postponement was announced on Wednesday (today) morning In a letter released on Wednesday, LMC announced 9th of May, 2021 as the new kick off date for the second round with match day 20. The body also stated that match day 20 will be played on the said date except the game involving Enyimba international and Rangers international of Enugu whose date will be communicated to both teams involved. The letter dated 20th April 2021 and signed by the Chief Operating Officer, LMC, Salihu Abubakar, reads: "Following the conclusion of the first round of matches on the 5th of April 2021 and the subsequent mid-season break, be informed that the second round matches will commence with match-day 20 on Sunday 9th May 2021 in all centers with the exception of Enyimba Intl FC versus Rangers Intl FC fixtute which will be anmounced in due course."
