LMC confirms Lagos as host for Super 6, releases draw

After the completion of the regular league season, the League Management Company has announced Soccer Temple in Agege, Lagos State as host venue for the planned Super 6, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The Nigeria Professional Football League this season was played in abridged format of 12 teams in group A and B with each team playing 22 matches each.
Top three teams in each group proceed to Super 6 while the bottom 4 teams in each group dropped to the second tier league.
Meanwhile, the league body also released the draw for the competition.
There will be 3 matches per day with kick off time set for 3pm, 5pm and 7pm.
The opening fixtures of the match day one will see an oriental derby between Enyimba International taking on Enugu Rangers by 3pm.
Second match will be between Kano Pillars and Akwa United by 5pm while last game of the day will come under floodlights by 7pm between defending champion Lobi Stars and FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
The competition is scheduled to kick off on 4th of June.
