LMC Hammer Falls on Niger Tornadoes, Plateau United, El-Kanemi Warriors

Niger Tornadoes have been charged for breaching the Framework and Rules of the league during its Matchday 5 fixture against Bendel Insurance.

According to reports, some Tornadoes supporters threw objects including water sachets onto the pitch and the technical area.

In the same vein, LMC has slammed N1m fine on El-Kanemi Warriors for fans pitch encroachment immediately after their NPFL Matchday 4 encounter against Nasarawa United. El-Kanemi have been handed a suspension order to play its subsequent home matches behind closes doors for the remainder of the season.

Plateau United has been charged for breaching NPFL Framework and Rules during its Matchday 5 fixture against Kano Pillars.

The three teams have 48 hours from the day of notice to appeal the sanction.
