Lobi Drawn Against Wydad, ASEC, Mamelodi Sundown In CAF Champions League Group Stage

CAFCL: Lobi clash with Wydad, two others

Nigeria sole campaigner in the CAF champions League Lobi Stars have been handed a tough draw by Confederation of African Football, CAF, in the group stage of the 2018/19 CAF Champions League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The draws which were conducted on Friday will see Nigeria champion take on former winner Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, ASEC Mimosa of Ivory Cooast and Mamelodi Sundown of South Africa.

Lobi who qualified for the group stage of the competition for the first time since year 2000 having defeated Gor Mahia of Kenya in the last round of the competition.

The first match of the 2018/19 CAF Champions League group stage game kicks off on January 11, 2019.
