Mathias Samuel Dedicates Goal To Mum

Lobi Stars forward, Mathias Samuel whose goal saw Makurdi based team beat Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League Group A opener has dedicated the winning goal to his mum.

Samuel revealed to www.bsnsports.com.ng that his mother had earlier before the game told him that he is going to score in the match.

"I dedicate the goal to my mother who has always supported me from the cradle. Even before the game, she told me I am going to score a goal and I said amen and claimed it."

Anthony Laffor scored a tap in from Uruguayan winger Sirino assists which put the visitors ahead in the 45th minute.

Samuel Mathias fired home from inside Mamelodi Sundowns box to make it 2-1 after Yaya Kone had equalised from the penalty spot.
