Lobi mourn Coach Ogbeide By Ahmad Tajudeen Lobi stars of Makurdi gaffer Solomon Ogbeide has been confirmed dead on Monday before their NPFL matchday 21 tie with Wikki Tourist at the Aper Aku stadium Makurdi, BSNSports.com.ng can report. The management of Lobi Stars had known that Solomon Ogbeide who submitted the list for the game in the morning was dead during the match but kept it away from the players and fans until final end of the match. It was reported that he collapsed after he complained that he was feeling unwell. He was rushed to King Kross hospital but he was said to be responding to treatment before the doctor declared him dead around 4:30pm. Edema Fuludu, a former Super Eagles player who worked with him while he was with Warri Wolves, described him as a veteran coach who was very jovial. Ogbeide led the Pride of Benue to the group stage of the Caf Champions League this year after helping the team to win the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) title last season. He has been with Lobi Stars since 2017.
