  LOC Shuns Sunday Dare In Closing Remarks By Niyi Busari Chairman, Local Organizing Committee, Phillip Shuaibu didn't not recognize the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare during his speech in the closing remarks to draw the curtain on the 20th National Sports Festival, BSNSports.com.ng reports. In his speech, the former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Barr Solomon Dalung as well the FCT Permanent Secretary, Olusade Adesola were given special recognition. When the Deputy Governor was marching into the stage, the popular song by Zlatan Ibile "Pepper Dem" was played confirming the rumour making the rounds that the Minister couldn't come because he was told not show up without the balance of funds promised by the Federal Government to the hosting state. The closing ceremony which started by recitation of National Anthem saw artistes like Franchize, Joeboy and Teni entertained the crowds. Sunday Dare was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Nebolisa Anako. However, there was no match past as many states have left for their base but the sporting events were closed by finals races in 4x100 meters relay mixed, 4x400 meters relay (women), 4x400 meters relay (men).
