LOSC Lille Thank Osimhen

After his departure to the Italia Serie A side Napoli, French Ligue One side, LOSC Lille have thanked Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen for his contributions to the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The former Nigeria Junior international joined Lille last season from the Belgium Jupiler League Sporting Charleroi after a fruitful season at the latter.
The club on Friday afternoon through its official website appreciated the youngster and said he is welcome to the club stadium anytime.
"The LOSC is proud to have counted in its ranks a player and a man like Victor Osimhen, who demonstrated in the Lille jersey as much talent and ambition as humility and professionalism.
"The club thanks him for all the emotions offered under his colors and is satisfied to have been able to support his progress and participate in his development at the highest level. Have a good trip, Victor.
You will obviously always be welcome at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium", the club statements reads.
In 38 matches in all competitions in the club colours, Osimhen scored 18 times, with four assists under his belt.
Fourth top scorer in the championship with 13 goals, Osimhen has also entered the history of the Lille club.
Over the last 40 seasons of LOSC, only Moussa Sow (19 in 2010/11) and Nicolas Pépé (17 in 2018/19) have scored more than him after 28 days of a Ligue 1 season.
