23 players shortlisted For Fosla Academy Scholarship

Twenty Three U.13 players from Kogi State have been shortlisted for the final screening exercise of the 2020 FOSLA Academy Scholarship Programme.
The players who were picked after the finals of the Kogi state edition of Fosla Academy U.13 tournament which Idah LGA won after defeating Dekina LGA 3-1 include five players from Idah LGA, Ojonugwa Faruq, Abdul Isa, Nuhu Saliu, Usman Ibrahim, Sule Abu, Four players from Dekina LGA of comprising of Edeh Emmanuel, Hussein Ogwu Usman, Jonathan Ogbadu, Emmanuel Hassan Ibrahim, while Igalamela LGA produced three players of Muhammed Haruna, Ibrahim Salisu, Rilwan Muhammed, Lokoja LGA have two players of Muhammed Abdulmutalib, and Idris Mohammed.
Other LGAs that contributed one players each are Bassa LGA, Baruwa Goodness, Ankpa LGA, Friday Idakpo, Ibaji LGA Rabo_Ojo Reuben, Offu LGA Abdullahi Abubakar and Olamoboro LGA that produced Abah. A. Enyojo.
Four girls will also benefit from the scholarship program and they include Happiness Ojotule(Ibaji), James Chubiyo(Ibaji), Jeremiah Peace (Idah), and Favour Ameh(Dekina).
Speaking at the finals of the tournament played in Idah, the sponsor of the tournament Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi former NFF President advised the shortlisted players to intensify their trainings, and remain committed to their academics as only the best would have the opportunity of fully benefiting from the scholarship to Fosla Academy Karshi, Abuja.
The Fosla U.13 Academy scholarship program is in its 10th year, with the first batch of students already in third year at the Nasarawa University, Keffi, after completing their secondary education at FOSLA Academy, where they combined Academics with Football.
