“After Lebanon (Athletico SC), Vietnam (Hô-Chi-Minh Football Federation), Senegal (AS Dakar Sacré-Coeur), China (with clubs in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Shenzhen), Morocco (Fath Union Sport), Brazil (Pelé Academia) and the United States (OL Reign), Portugal becomes the eighth international territory where Lyon develops an elite technical cooperation with a major local actor.”
Talks with Farense began in January, when Director General Vincent Ponsot visited the club with Florian Maurice, then the club’s Head of Recruitment.
This partnership will allow Lyon to place certain Brazilian players that they acquire, in order to facilitate these individuals’ development in European football.
