Maiduguri Is Safe For NPFL, NNL, NLO Matches - Ayo Ojo

First choice goaltender of Nigeria National League side, Elkanemi Football Club, Ayobami Akinola Ojo, has relished the enthusiastic pleasures he experienced in the line of duty for the Maiduguri based outfit.
Ojo started his promising football career with Diskabog FC from where he teamed up with Pako FC, Ilorin from where he joined Gray's Int'l FC, and later moved to Heartland FC and played along with former Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama and host of others.
Being the first choice goalkeeper at Elkanemi Warriors FC now, Ojo revealed to the ever buzzing Sports Platform, Family United By Football FUBF, that the security concern in Borno State doesn't make his team to play under 'grit and pressure'.
"I'm enjoying the atmosphere and the life in Maiduguri. Passionate soccer fans are always in their Thousands thronging the stadium to enjoy their stylish bride, the 'Desert Warriors' on match days. The experience for me here is amazing and I so much cherish it," Ojo who's planning to become a businessman after quitting football told FUBF.
The highly gifted goalkeeper who played for Sunshine Stars last season in the Nigeria Professional Football League and kept the Owena Whales 80 % matches, had previously starred for both Crown FC and Osun Utd FC noted that, the metropolis is safe for sporting activities.
"Amidst security concerns, we enjoy our games without any fear in Maiduguri. Kudos to Federal Government for installing heavy security operatives in the nooks and crannies of the city and by extension the state.
"The metropolis is safe for sporting activities, l must confess." Dotie, as the penalty stopper specialist is fondly called submitted.
