Mailantarki Committed To Football Development As MCFA Attend Lagos Scouting Tourney By Adamu Usman Ahmed Gombe State is on the verge of becoming the football hub for players development in Nigeria as the President of Mailantarki Care Football Academy (MCFA), Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki disclosed the latest development on the academy scheduled programs in Nigeria and abroad. The academy have in the past few weeks concluded its mega screening exercise across states in the Northern Nigeria under the tutelage of the academy head and director of technical and ex-National U-17 gaffer, Manu Garba (OON), where 40 talented players were selected to represent the MCFA in its upcoming scouting tournaments scheduled to hold in Lagos on Tuesday with another one coming up in October to be hosted in Gombe - the base of MCFA, all courtesy of the ex-lawmaker in partnership with UDE sports management limited Lagos. Mailantarki further stated in an interview that part of his effort to ensure talented footballers have secured advance career abroad include, foreign scouting trips where his boys will be opened to opportunities to meet directly with foreign Club Directors and Agents for the best performing ones to seal career deal. The Abuja based politician and bussiness mogul had recently returned back from Europe were he sealed a partnership deals with top clubs in Portugal and France as part of his commitment and passion in promoting talented players from his home state Gombe and Nigeria at large. European clubs licensed scout/agent, Swedish football administrator Patrick Mork will lead other scouters in the Lagos scouting tourney were MCFA will slug it out with Schimchi FC tomorrow and face MSH Football Academy the following day with all fixtures to be played at the legacy football pitch Surulere, Lagos.
