Major Shake Up In CAF

Barely two month into the reign of Patrice Motsepe as president of African soccer governing body, CAF is presently undergoing a major shake up, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The former Chief Executive officer of South Africa Premier League club, Mamelodi Sundowns, replaced Ahmad Ahmad as the President of CAF on 12th of March 2021 in Rabat, Morocco.
After being elected as president he announced Veron Omba Mosengo as the General Secretary of the soccer body.
According to report coming from CAF headquarters in Cairo, the general secretary has decided to lay off 15 staff members working for the body while the reasons for their sack remained unknown.
And more are likely to follow, while new set of workers from World soccer governing body (FIFA) will replace the.sacked workers soonest.
