Malachi Ohawume Last Minute Goal Saves Rivers Blushes Against Wikki

A last-gasp goal by Malachi Ohawume saved the day for Rivers United against Wikki Tourists in the NPFL match day 24 fixture at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Monday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
It was a contest of an early half and a late second half after the Bauchi side had an early goal in the fourth minutes of the game.
Former Rivers player Stephen Gopey gave the visitors the lead after he head past Odah off Idris Guda's corner kick.
Rivers piled up of the pressure for the equaliser, but the Tourists did well to keep the tie one nil in their favour at half time.
After several missed chances and when it seemed the away team were going home with the three points, Ohawume came to the rescue at the dead of the tie.
The result take the Port Hacourt base team to fourth on the NPFL table while Wikki Tourists moved from 17th to 16th.
Meanwhile, the second and last game of match day 24 between Jigawa Golden Stars and Abia Warriors ended goaless.
