Mamelodi Sundowns Wins Four Consecutive League Titles By Uche Dozie Mamelodi Sundowns became the first South African side to win four consecutive league titles to bring their count to a record eleven titles, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Downs needed a win on Wednesday against top-three-chasers Super Sport United to emerge champions of the Premier Soccer League which they did winning by three goals to one. United got their consolation three minutes from time when a half-volley from Teboho Mokoena arrowed into the top-corner. Mamelodi Sundowns have won joint-most national league titles(13)-a record which they currently share with Kaizer Chiefs,who have lifted four PSL trophies, four NSL titles and five NPSL trophies.
