MAN kicks start preparation for WMF World Cup, Australia 2019 By Admin Minifootball Association of Nigeria on Tuesday 30th of April, during its 3rd board meeting, officially kickstarted preparations for Nigeria's participation at the forthcoming WMF World Cup holding in Perth, Australia from 1st to 11th Oct, 2019. Also at the all-important board meeting, a committee to draw up structures and modalities for the hosting of the 2nd edition of the AMC African Nations Cup and the National Minifootball League, NML was equally inaugurated. The President of MAN, Andy ELEREWE, who chaired the occasion, urged committee members to show commitment and dedication towards the actualization of the terms of reference. You will recall Nigeria was among the 6 countries that qualified for the 3rd edition of the WMF World cup after a tough qualification games at the Nation Cup in Lybia in May 2018. Nigeria was also awarded the hosting right for the 2nd edition of the AMC Nations Cup after submitting bid alongside South Africa. The World Cup Committee is chaired by the Sec Gen of the Association, Zira Emmanuel with other members, including .four board members of MAN and three members from the Media, would be sponsor, fed ministry of sport. The LOC for the AMC Nations Cup is chaired by the President while all zonal coordinators serve as members. Due to the limited time, the President gives a month deadline for all committee members to report back to the house. Zonal Coordinators of MAN have equally been given the mandate to set up state chapters within their various state within a month.
