Relegated Premier League side West Brom on the brink of announcing the signing of Nigerian defender Tosin Adarabioyo, as per reports.
The Daily Mail's Jack Gaughan has reported that Manchester City's Tosin Adarabioyo is set to sign a season-long loan deal with West Brom and was travelling to the Midlands to complete a medical on Thursday afternoon.
Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers were interested in the signature of the central defender as well as Utrecht in the Dutch Eredivisie.
He first trained with Manchester City at the age of five, rising through the ranks before he was handed his professional debut against Chelsea in the FA Cup in February 2016.
Adarabioyo was named in the Citizens squad for their tour of United States, and featured off the bench in the International Champions Cup match against Liverpool.
Last summer, he penned a new deal with City tying him to the club until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
