Manchester
Manchester United are not willing to accept Napoli’s eye-watering price tag for star striker Victor Osimhen, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Reds have been keeping a close eye on African striker with a summer bid potentially being submitted. Interim boss Ralf Rangnick has been told to provide the club’s chief executive Richard Arnold with a shortlist of potential replacements for Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani. Cavani is expected to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer in the summer and Ronaldo could part ways with the Red Devils for a second time in his career, if the United fail to qualify for the Champions League. However, Nigerian international has cart in 21 goals already, and  have seven assists to his name from 52 appearances for Napoli for the Super Eagles, Osimhen has 10 goals from 18 caps for his country. But after being quoted £100m, United have seemingly balked at the fee and plan to look elsewhere. The Victor Osimhen news states that Rangnick has ‘major reservations’ about the prospect of Ronaldo spearheading United’s forward line next season.
