  Mauritania Unveil Mascot For U20 AFCON By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the 2021 U20 African Cup Of Nations, host, Mauritania has unveiled the mascot for the upcoming competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Twelve countries without Nigeria have secured their qualification ticket through their various regional tournaments. Despite taking part in the last FIFA U20 World cup in Poland, Nigeria's Flying Eagles crashed out at the group stage of this year WAFU U20 competition. The mascot named Jamal was unveiled on Thursday afternoon with approximately two month to the competition. Africa soccer governing body agreed that the underage competitions should go on despite FIFA cancelling the World cup due to Coronavirus.
