Remo Stars striker Victor Mbaoma has sent thank you messages to Akwa United, after he left the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Mbaoma spent last season on loan with the promise Keeper on loan from Remo stars, and has returned to the sky blue after the expiration of his loan deal.

The lanky forward sent the message via his social media handle, where he appreciates the club, chairman, coaches and playing staff.

" Great memory in Uyo with Akwa United fc Chairman Paul Bassey Godfearing with zeal of success Abdul Maikaba Coach Aliu, coaching crew and management snd my great teammates and the wonderful football lovers of Uyo.

"Thanks 4 ur love. Am speechless. am sure going 2 miss u all.God plsz! , he stated.

While with the club Mbaoma contributed his quota to the progress of the team last season.

Mbaoma played a key role in the Nigeria National League Super 8 play off for Remo stars, where the club secured a promotion back to the elites division.
