By Correspondents After overcoming a long time battle with injury, Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) all-time leading scorer, Mfon Udoh, has set his sights on winning the CAF Confederation Cup with Enyimba. The skipper, who made the final team that traveled to Cote d’Ivoire for a group stage game against Williamsville AC on Sunday (today), said he was ready to help the team to the title. Udoh, who scored a record-breaking 23 goals in 2014, told our correspondent that he was grateful for all the support he received during his trying period. “It was a trying time in my career, but I thank those who kept believing in me and encouraged me not to give up despite the numerous setbacks,” he said. “My immediate target is to help Enyimba to the title as it has been a while that we won something last and Enyimba is used to winning titles. “I am back now to contribute my quota to the success of the team and hopefully at the end of the season we will be able to win titles.” Enyimba top Group C with six points from three matches, while Sunday’s foes Williamsville are second on four points, same as Djoliba of Mali. CARA Brazzaville are bottom of a tight group on three points.
