The reports coming from the camp of former Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder and captain John Mikel Obi, he might be on his way to the Brazilian league.

Former Nigeria international left the Turkish Super League side Trabzonspor on a mutual agreement after the outbreak of corona virus, BSN Report.

The reports has it that Brazilian side Botafogo has opened a discussions with Mikel after their attempt to lure former Coted'ivoire and Barcelona player Yaya Toure failed.

Mikel who is keen on England stay is expected to respond soon either he will be joining Botafogo.

Before his Turkey departure, Mikel made 27 appearances for Trabzonspor both in the continent and domestic scene.
