Mikel on target for Victoria Guimaraes

BSNSports can report that Midfielder Mikel Agu underlined his inclusion in the Super Eagles list for upcoming 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic and Lesotho in November as he put up amazing performance for Victoria de Guimaraes.

Mikel Agu was part of the Super Eagles team en route Russia 2018 World cup before he was dropped on the eve of the tournament.

The on loan FC Porto player was simply outstanding on Wednesday night as Guimaraes thrashed Belenenses 5-0.

He was on target in the 5th minute but was booked in the 12th minute and also recorded an assist.

Mikel was substituted in the 78th minute for Pepe and accorded an applause by the home fans.

He is expected to teem up with the rest of the Super Eagles players when the camp finally open for the matches.
