Mikel shines in Middlesbrough win

Nigeria's Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi continued to shine in his new club Middlesbrough, as the club recorded an away win over West Bromwich Albion.

Former Chelsea midfielder started his second consecutive game as Boro traveled to Hawthorns.

It was George Saville that broke the deadlock in the 17th minutes before Jay Rodriguez leveled the game in the 42nd minutes of the game to end the half all square.

Dwight Gale game host the lead in the 63rd minutes before Mikel was substituted in 75th minutes of the game for Rajiv Van La Parra.

Britt Assombalaga equalized for Boro and completed his brace in the 83rd minutes and ensure total three points for Middlesbrough.

Mikel returned to England after spending almost two season with Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League.
