Milan to host 2019 Player of the year award

After holding the last two editions in London, World Football governing body FIFA had confirmed Milan, Italy as host city for the 2019 edition of the World player of the year.
Croatia and Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric clinched the last award beating the duo of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
FIFA confirmed the city as the host on Monday after a meeting in Nyon Switzerland.
Apart, from announcing new host city, FIFA also introduced new award category to complement the ones already on ground.
The newly introduced includes FIFA women's best goalkeeper and Fifpro women's world eleven.
In all there will 11 award categories to be contested for in Milan and September 23rd had being fixed for the event.
