Mini-football AFCON: Senegal Outscores Zambia In Five-goal Thriller 3-2 Zambia By Our Reporter Senegal started their title defense with a 3-2 win over stubborn Zambia on match-day 2 of the 2021 African Minifootball Cup at the Ilaji Minifootball pitch, Ibadan. Three quick first half goals were scored by Sidate, Baye, Fadel respectively which made a comeback impossible for the Zambians. Although the Zambians scored a goal late in the first half and scored the second early into the second half, the two goals were scored by Johnson Banda . They Zambians will definitely be proud of their second half performance, they created more chances and should have gotten the equaliser if not for the Senegalese goalkeeper, khadim Ndiaye who stood like a rock of Gilbritar and saved 4 shots in the second half. Meanwhile, Nigeria and Libya opener ended in barren draw while Egypt defeated Ghana 3-1 on match-day 1 on Thursday.
