Minifootball AFCON 2021: Nigeria Face Djibouti In Tournament Opener

Nigeria Minifootball national team will kick off the second edition of the African Cup of Nations tournament against Djibouti at the Ilaji International Mini-stadium, Ibadan,
BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The draw that took place on 9th of June saw host Nigeria, Senegal, Morocco and Djibouti fall into Group A while Burkina Faso, Benin Republic, South Africa and Tunisia are in Group B.
Defending Champions Ivory Coast, Egypt, Somalia and Ghana are in Group C and the Group D has 2018 host Libya, Gabon, Zambia and Algeria.
With the tournament set to kick-off on 8th July, host Nigeria will take on Djibouti in the first match of the competition at 8pm local time with Senegal vs Morocco to come up at 21:30 same day.

On the second day of the competition, Ivory Coast vs Ghana will kick the ball rolling for the day at 3:30pm followed by Zambia vs Gabon at 5:30pm.

South Africa vs Benin Republic will follow suit at 6:30pm while Tunisia vs Burkina Faso starts at 8pm.
Egypt vs Somalia, the fifth game of the day is slated for 9:30pm as Lybia vs Algeria wraps up the day at 11pm.

Host Nigeria will end its group stages campaign with the match against Senegal on 11th of July by 2021 while South Africa will play the last group stages match against Morocco by 10pm on 12th of July.
All matches will take place at the Ilaji International Minifootball Stadium Ibadan.
The best five teams will represent Africa at the Minifootball World Cup in August 2021.
