"All i want is a coach that is competent, i dont care whether it is Rorh or not. The name doesn't matter but does he has the credential?" Dare said in a 30 seconds video sent to BSN Sports.
Reiterating on why a world class coach should handle the Eagles, the minister stated that Nigeria players who ply their trades with best clubs in Europe deserve nothing but one of the best and a world class coach.
"Look at our footballers they played in one of the best clubs in the world and being coached by one of the best.
"So if you want to coach Nigeria, you better be sound because the invited players that is going to represent the country train under the beat coaches, therefore, we don't want a player that is sounder than the coach."
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, is on the verge finalising Gernot Rohr's contract extension with the latter agreeing to the terms and conditions that come along with the new contract. The federation has not announced the Eagles job vacant.
