Minister of Sports Meets 8-Year Old Female Boxer, Shekinat In Lagos

The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare on Sunday met with the 8-year old female boxer, Shekinat in Lagos, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Dare had promised to get in touch with the little girl after watching her sparring with her coach in a video which went viral on social media. Having watched her displayed boxing skills, the minister in a tweet requested for her contact which he got and promised to meet, encourage and nurture her talent to become a great boxer in future.

Sunday kept to his promise and promised to join over 500 spectators who will watch and cheer her to victory when she enters into the boxing ring in the oncoming Oworonshoki Annual Boxing competition, in Lagos.
