Morocco To Submit Bid For 2030 World Cup Sampson Adedeji Countries continue to show interest in staging FIFA World Cup and the Kingdom of Morocco appear to have joined the race once again, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Morocco was one of the countries that bid to host the competition in 2010 before it was given to South Africa. The country once again has concluded a plan to bid for the competition once again and this time around in 2030. Qatar will stage 2022 and 2026 has been awarded to three countries (the United States, Canada and Mexico) to be co-hosted. And for the first time, 48 countries will take part in the World Cup in 2026 but it's left to be seen if the 2030 World Cup will also have 48 countries.
