Simon moved to the French Lique one side on loan from the Spanish La Liga side UD Levante this summer with an option to sign permanently for the club.

He expressed his happiness on Tuesday afternoon while speaking with BSN Sports via telephone from his base in France.

" In the Spanish league I played out of position, played as a right back and left back, obviously I will not say i am not happy over there because as a good player, one should be able to play every position the coach want you to play." Simon told BSN Sports.

"And in France, virtually I play in my position the way I used to play in Gent and AS Trencin . Quite alright, i am happy about it and am doing well.

it's too early to say I have settled down in the French league but just keep working hard .

The Super Eagles winger also spoke on the his performance for Nigeria, saying that he is ready to put in his best whenever he is called to represent his fatherland.

"I feel happy to represent my country and every call up i want to put my 100 percent to make my family proud.

When he was asked about his memorable game for Nigeria, he replied.

"I will pick my first game against Uganda as my memorable game though I lost but am grateful to God about it,' he stated.

Simon has so far scored 6 goals for Nantes in all competition this season.
