Moses Simon Named Nantes Player of The Month

With four goals in the month of October including a hattrick against FC Paris in the French Coupe de la Ligue, Super Eagles forward, Moses Simon, has been named Nantes Player of The Month for October.

In a voting process conducted by the club which opened on November 4, Simon won a whopping 62 per cent of the votes to beat Pallois Nicolas, Mehdi Abeid, and Andrei Girotto to the award which was announced on Friday.

Simon who joned the side on loan from Levante in the summer has scored two goals in 10 league games and a total of five goals in 11 appearances for the club.

The winger will be presented with his award when Les Canaris tackle St-Etienne on Sunday in a French Ligue 1 match.

The forward will be available for the Super Eagles as they begin their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin and Lesotho.
