Moses spills Emenike support to team with Fenerbahce
By Abidoye Babatunde
Former Chelsea star Victor Moses has made it known that Super Eagles legend Emmanuel Emenike played a key role in his decision to sign for Fenerbache, BSNSports reports.
Having spent his longest period with a club at Fenerbahce, Emenike was on hand to advise Moses that Istanbul is the right stop.
''I even talked to two Nigerian players, like Emmanuel Emenike. They talked positively about the club. The history of the club is excellent and I'm happy to be here,” Moses stated.
“To be clear, Super Lig is a big league. I watched videos about the Super League.
Everyone is very passionate. They love football in this country,” Emenike told Moses.
''Everybody is talking about football players. I actually talked to a few players before coming here. It was a very good experience.
Moses, already with a goal in two games for Fenerbahce, was also asked to name his number football icon.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has been getting questions on welcoming the Aduna-born Moses from international
retirement, and the last comment from the 65-year-old coach has been: “Moses needs to show the desire.”
