Having fully recovered from the injury sustained towards the tale end of last season, Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi will be unavailable when MTN Super cup kicks off this weekend in South Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite missing out on winning the title narrowly to Memelodi Sundown last season, Akpeyi was one of the outstanding performer for the club.

Super 8 tournament will kick off this weekend and Kaizerchief newly appointed coach Gavin Hunt has confirmed that former Warri Wolves shot stopper will not be available due to logistic reason.
