Musa Nimrod Happy with Savanna and Atlantic Conferences Success

Nimrod who expressed this while fielding questions from newsmen at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Indoor Sports Hall, venue of the Savannah Conference of the league called for corporate sponsorship. The president, who was elated by the standard of play, was positive that the outcome of the league will translate to better international outing for Nigeria in the nearest future. “As you can see, there is excitement here. Not just here, but even at the venue of the Atlantic Conference. What we desire to see soon is the coming of good sponsors who can take advantage of the maximum publicity they would be getting as well as contributing to making it even better,” he said. The NVBF President also commended the officials for fair officiating and the athletes for high level of discipline on and off the courts. Meanwhile, in results of matches for day four gathered Kano male team came back from defeat to Plateau on Tuesday to trounce Niger 3-0.
