The Sparta Rotterdam shot-stopper made his debut for Nigeria in an international friendly against Brazil. Since his debut under former coach Gernot Rohr, Okoye has been regular with the team. While speaking to Netherlands news outlet described how he watched AFCON as a little boy and how his father will feel seeing him in action for Nigeria. “Yes, when I watched matches as a little boy, I could already see myself standing there.
