My Time To Play For Eagles Is Inching Closer - Otubanjo

Ararat Amenia FC striker, Olaitan Otubanjo Yusuf, is confident his time to put on the Green White Green jersey of is getting closer.
The 28 years old LASK loanee said this after his 88th minute goal against rivals Ararat Yerevan on Monday took his team to the top of the Armenia Premier League standings.
When asked how he felt about being ignored by Super Eagles handlers despite his good run with his club, the former Atletico Madrid youth team star said he wasn't feeling bad at all, because whatever he is doing now is for the future.
" I don't see things that way. I don't know the quality or measures at which the coach of the Super Eagles is looking at before making his selections, but by the grace of God, my time to play for the Super Eagles is near. That is why I am giving my very best for the future ", said the former Golden Eaglets striker
" As I have always told people, it is the dream of every footballer to put on his national team jersey. God has his own ways of turning things around and we can only pray they turn out in our favour".
Otubanjo joined Ararat Amenia on loan till the end of the current season from LASK FC of Austria. He has found the back of the net for Ararat Amenia six times in ……appearances.
Nicknamed the journey man, Otubanjo was previously in the books of Julius Berger FC of Lagos, Gateway FC, Red Bull Salzburg, FC Pasching, Blau Weibo, Zilina Altache before joining Ararat Amenia on loan.
He was a member of the Golden Eaglets team that won silver at the 2009 U17 World Cup.
