The Champions League match between Borussia Monchengladbach and Real Madrid will now be played behind closed doors.
Initially, 10,804 fans were permitted to attend the match at Borussia-Park, with the match being sold-out, but the number was later reduced to 300.
Gladbach head into the match on the back of a morale-boosting 3-2 win away to Mainz on Saturday.
They also battled to a 2-2 draw against Inter Milan in the opening Champions League clash and will be keen on building on their recent success.
Madrid, on the other hand, suffered a shocking 3-2 home loss against Shakhtar Donetsk but recovered well to beat bitter rivals Barcelona 3-2 in the first El Classico of the season on Saturday.
