Mönchengladbach vs Real Madrid to be played behind closed doors

The Champions  League match between Borussia Monchengladbach and Real  Madrid will now be played behind closed doors.  Initially, 10,804 fans were permitted to attend the match at Borussia-Park, with the match being sold-out, but the number was later reduced to 300. Gladbach head into the match on the back of a morale-boosting 3-2 win away to Mainz on Saturday. They also battled to a 2-2 draw against Inter Milan in the opening Champions League clash and will be keen on building on their recent success. Madrid, on the other hand, suffered a shocking 3-2 home loss against Shakhtar Donetsk but recovered well to beat bitter rivals  Barcelona 3-2 in the first El Classico of the season on  Saturday.
