Naija Flight Round Up: Onyekuru In Action, Odey On Target; Abdullahi Suffers Defeat

  Young Nigerian striker, Stephen Odey was on target for FC Zürich, who came from a goal down to beat Xamax 2-1 in Sunday’s league clash, BSNSports reports. Former MFM forward Odey who last scored a league goal for FC Zurich in their 3-1 loss to FC St. Gallen struck the winner for his side in the 76th minute of the game. Simy Nwankwo bagged his ninth league goal for Crotone in their 2-2 draw at home to Lecce. The Nigerian international shot in for hosts in the six minutes, the tally forward has now scored four goals in his last five league games for Crotone. In Turkey, Abdullahi Shehu was in action for Bursaspor who lost 3-2 to Henry Onyekuru’s Galatasaray on Sunday. Onyekuru , currently the fourth top scorer in the Super Lig has scored 11 goals in 23 league appearances for Galatasaray provided an assist for Sofiane Feghouli to score the winner. In spain, Ramon Azeez was subbed in for his teammate Angel in the 75th minute of Granada’s goalless draw against Almeria. Samuel Chukwueze cap his 10th La Liga appearance for Villarreal in their 3-1 home win over Rayo Vallecano on Sunday. Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen as his goal counted for little as his Belgian Jupiler League side Sporting Charleroi suffered 1-2 home defeat to Eupen. Osimhen brought Charleroi back on level terms in the 44th minute.
