NANPF president, Tijani expresses shock over Ahmed Musa mother's death

President of the National Association of Nigeria Footballers, NANPF, Tijani Babaginda, MON, has expressed deep shock with the news of the death of the mother of Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa who passed away Thursday in an Abuja hospital.
Babaginda noted that it was indeed an unfortunate incident while enjoying Ahmed Musa to take solace in the fact that the mother has goon to be with the Lord.
He stated that the football family as represented by the National Association of Nigeria professional Footballers is fully behind him in this time of grief assuring that they would do everything within their power to support him.
The former Super Eagles winger in his own time said further, "I want to say that I was really shock when I heard the news. The first thing I did was to put a call to Ahmed to express my condolence and that of the Union. I also put calls across to our members and my exco members to put our heads together to see how we can support one of our own in this his moment of grief. This is exactly why we exist as an Association," he said.
The NANPF president enjoyed all football loving Nigerians to show support to the Super Eagles captain who he maintained has given so much to Nigeria football.
"This is the time to show support to the player who has given so much to the Nation. Nigerians should come out to support him. We must show him that he is not alone and to also let him know that we love and appreciate all that he has and is still doing for Nigeria football, " Tijani Babaginda said.
