Nantes Want Me But Levante Has The Final Say - Simon

After a successful loan spell in the French Ligue One, Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has stated that Nantes actually spoke to him about a permanent deal with the club.

Simon joined Nantes during a winter transfer window in January from the Spanish La Liga side UD Levante and was able to prove his mettle in the French Lique, BSN Reports.

While speaking with tribalfootball Simon said he enjoyed his stay with Nantes and happy to emerge the team player of the season.

“Yes they did. Nantes actually wants me to remain at the club,” Simon responded when asked if he had been spoken to by the club.

“But don’t forget that I’m on loan from my parent club (Levante) and they have the final say on this matter.

“Honestly, it was a great experience for me,” he added.

I can say it has been a great season for me in France having scored some goals and had some assists too. I scored some crucial goals for my team.

“I think I adjusted quickly to French football and this helped me to settle down very well as a professional player.

“Of course French football suits my game since I have splendid performances. Winning man of the match award in 10 games and winning the player of the month once in the club makes me feel good.”

“For me to have played as a point man in some games tells you that French football suits my style of play. I think hard-work and God’s favour made my football to click in France," he stated.

Simon scored 9 goals and 8 assists in 30 matches for Nantes.
