NASARAWA UNITED SIGN TWO FOREIGN PROS TO FORTIFY TEAM
Nasarawa United has signed two international players to further make the team more stronger and solid by capturing Nigerian-British striker Samuel Kehinde and Former world Cup winner Fabiyi Saheed (M.O.N).
Speaking with the Media, Samuel Kehinde aka Eagle says he took the decision to play for the Lafia based team because football speaks the same language all over the world.
" I believe that wherever you are playing football, as long as you enjoy playing, training everyday and playing games every week then you can still achieve your goals and anything in football, football speaks the same language all over the world and that is the reason i decided to play for Nasarawa United.
" I did my own background check on the team, they are a very good side that plays beautiful brand of football, they also play CAF Confederation Cup some years ago, i think for a team to qualify to play continental football, that is absolutely a prove that they are a good team with a purpose and awesome objectives, i will like to showcase my potentials to every Nigerians and hopefully a call up to the National team would not be a bad idea.
" I will really do my best to ensure Nasarawa United finish well at the end of the season, though it might seems impossible but through hard work, dedication, passion, the love we have for the game we can move to another level, football is still the same all over the world, i have to challenge myself and mentally ready for NPFL, can't wait to play my first game, i love playing football and i want to make a name in the league by scoring a double figure goals at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Fabiyi Saheed (M.O.N) also express delight for pitching tent with Nasarawa United.
" I am so happy to have joined Nasarawa United, it will really be a massive one bringing my European experience back to our league and also an avenue for me to rejuvenate my footballing career.
" I faced a lot of trying times after we won the World Cup in 2007, i played for Enyimba FC briefly and i really enjoyed every moment in the league, now our league has improved tremendously, Nasarawa is also a good team which i believe will help me get back on my feet, they also have a very sound technical department.
Barbinton as he's fondly called by friends and his fans, " We should finish strongly on the log at the end of the season, we have quality players and ready to play out their heart, the management are also working tirelessly to improve on players welfare as a great motivation, above all we have a supporting Governor, ready to grant all the players need, as he concluded.
