NBBF Election: Nnaji, Gumut Emerge Technical, Players Representatives By Niyi Busari Head Coach of Basketball team of Nigeria Custom Service, Scot Nnaji defeated Ogoh Odaudu with 19 to 18 votes in the Technical Representative election conducted at the Indoor Sports Hall of Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng can report. In the Players election held earlier before the Technical election, Stanley Gumut defeated Yakubu Usman 25-12 in the Players Representative election held at the same venue. Nnaji said he will rewrite the history by making sure that the national teams have home based coaches in the technical crew. While speaking with BSN Sports, Stanley Gumut promised to speak the truth and fight for the players' right. Meanwhile, the outgoing president of NBBF was allegedly called the Secretary General of federation, Afolabi-Oluwayemi Olabisi to stop the election from being conducted. It took the intervention of the minister, Sunday Dare who insisted that the election should be going on before both elections were conducted.
