NBBF: My Objective Is To Put Nigeria On The Right Path - Kida Sampson Adedeji As the new Nigeria Basketball league set to dunk off, the Caretaker Chairman of the Nigeria Basketball Federation Engr Musa Kida has said putting Nigeria on the right path remains his objective, BSNsports.com.ng can report. According to him, the league has been off for the past few years due to some court litigation and other circumstances. The league is set to return this week as teams have converged for the commencement of the new season and due to this, Kida granted a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday. He said, "For me, what is important to go into the elections is for us to be able to make this program very sustainable. In my consultations, the last four years have been interesting. "Basketball is a sport that Nigerians are expecting Nigeria to go out and win without excuses. So for me, we are on a good path. "I am ready to serve in whatever capacity that I can to put these structures in place; so that Nigerian Basketball will be better," he said. The winner of the league will get to represent the country in the next edition of the African Basketball League (BAL).
