NBBF postpones Division league take off

Due to the Zonal Elimination of the upcoming National Sports Festival, the Nigeria Basketball Federation has postponed the take off of National Division one competition.

The take off was initially fixed for January 20th, but has to be moved due to NSF eliminations that is scheduled for around that time.

The Secretary of the Federation Afolabi Oluwayemi Olabisi announced that the competition will now take place on January 29th and arrival date has been fixed for January 27th.

14 teams will compete for honour in the Savannah conference, while 9 teams will battle each other in the Atlantic conference at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium.

The tournament will end on February 10th with 4 gaining promotion to the elite division.
