NBBF: Super 8 To Take Place In Abuja Sampson Adedeji Despite crisis rocking the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) date and venue has been set for the premier league Super 8, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Federation has been engulfed in crisis following the upcoming elections into the executive positions of the body. Sports ministry under the leadership of Hon. Sunday Dare this week announced taking charge of the national male team World cup qualifiers. The ministry on Friday also announced that the Basketball premier league Super 8 will take place between the 11th to 18th of November at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola, Abuja. The winner will represent the country in the Basketball African League (BAL) The ministry will be responsible for the organisation of the Super 8. Rivers Hoopers represented Nigeria in the maiden edition of the BAL tournament but failed to make it beyond the group stage.
