Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi along with their Leicester teammates will travel by road for their Premier League match away to Cardiff and not by air after the death of club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who died in a helicopter crash on Saturday. The team who are still in a state of shock believe it would be insensitive for the players and officials to travel by air after the unfortunate incident that claimed the life of the 60-year-old along with four others. Towards this end, the management have made arrangements to convey the entire team with the official coach for the three hour journey. Srivaddhanaprabha died after the team’s 1-1 draw with West Ham, in which Ndidi scored the equaliser in the home tie. Saturday’s match would be the first game for the Foxes with players expected to wear black armbands and a minute silence observed before kick off in honour of Srivaddhanaprabha who was adjudged the fifth richest man in his native country Thailand by Forbes magazine.
