Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was on cloud nine after his wife put to bed a baby girl.

BSN reports that the hard tackling midfielder tied a nuptial knot with his long time girlfriend Fortune last year in an elaborate wedding ceremony.

He announced the arrival of the baby girl via his social media handle on friday with a picture of himself carrying the baby and also inscriptions.

"I’m Fortunate to know that “God is gracious”- JAINA.’ he wrote.

It remain to be seen if Ndidi will remain at King Power stadium with Leicester city this season.
