English premier League side Leicester City continued their good run of victory as they thrashed defending champions Manchester City 2-1 in the Boxing day English Premier League match-day 19 game played at KC stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was in the thick of action trying to intercept Citizen play at the middle.

It was Bernardo Silva that opened the scoring in the 14th minutes before Mac Albrighton leveled in the 19th minutes.

Riccardo stunner sealed the game for the Foxes.

Former Genk midfielder was ectactic after the game and revealed his excitement via his social media handle.

"3 points in the bag, Foxes never quit 💪🏾🙏🏾💙" he wrote.

Leicester City has now recorded back to back win against Premier League bigwigs Chelsea and Manchester City.

With the two consecutive back to back wins for the Foxes, the club are at the 7th position on the log with 28 points in 19 matches.
