Ndidi Rates Self, Super Eagles
Wilfred Ndidi's stock and rating have risen over the years to a considerable height. He is one of the best defensive midfielder in the world and for Leicester City.
However, failure to qualify for the Uefa Champions League means he will once again not compete with the best of players. On a personal level, Ndidi once again ended the campaign as one of the top tacklers in the the English top-flight, with only Manchester United's English right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka having a better record than the Nigerian.
On his performance last season Ndidi told the Super Eagles media team : "I just want to play
football, do my game and help the team. "I don't really look up to it, the three points is more important for me than actually what I do, and all the personal credits. So if the team is doing well then it's fine for me."
Also on the super eagles of Nigeria he said:
"I can't wait for us to come back, I miss the players, miss the fans, miss the atmosphere in the stadium, I miss everyone in the team - the banter, the jokes
and all, the coaches, the staff, everyone. "The whole pandemic thing is making everyone stay
far away from each other. Hopefully everything will
be fine," the Super Eagles number 4 added.
He will be hoping that the 2020/2021 season which kick-ststarts on September 12th will be better season.
